In response to numerous requests for some sample music, I recorded this CD. With the exception of the "live" and "smallpipe" tracks, each tune listed below is a medley from Vol 1, starting with the song listed. These medleys are very common with both pipe bands and individual pipers, but only represent a small sample of what I can play for your event. The live tracks were recorded in Feb 2008, at the Boothbay Opera House.

Scottish Melodies Music (ASCAP)

These tracks were recorded using a Fostex MR8 Mk II 8 Track Digital Recorder, Alesis MultiMix 8-Channel Mixer, four Behringer C3 microphones, Sony CD Architect 5.2 with Sound Forge 8 Software, and a Dell XPS 410 Computer. The only enhancement was to remove background noise, and add .05ms of echo for effect. The pipes used are Dunbar DB4's, Dunbar P4's, both equipped with Balance Tone Drone reeds, and a Higgins medium chanter reed. Smallpipe tunes use John Walsh A-2000 Smallpipes.
