I recorded these tracks at the ScotMel Studio in Brunswick, Maine. The
only enhancement was to remove some background noise, and equalize tracks. The live tracks were recorded at the
Boothbay Opera House in Feb of 2008. The pipes used are Dunbar DB4's & Dunbar P4's, both equipped
with Balance Tone Drone reeds, and Gilmour medium chanter reeds. Smallpipe tunes use John Walsh A-2000 & D-2000 Smallpipes.
The flute, called a Bansuri, is an ancient Hindustani bamboo instrument made by Sri Jeff Whittier.
